Patina pendant #1

Description

This pendant starts with a piece of recycled copper that I rolled out thin, then embossed with the texture. Next step is to put the metal in with some sort of chemical and wait for the copper to react – each piece turns out differently, and I can’t predict how they will end up.

That patinated copper is then riveted to a backplate made of recycled brass with a hand hammered edge.
