Bird, anyone?

Description

This lovely image of some sort of bird is an illustration from an antique book. My first step is to transfer the image to recycled brass, then I permanently etched it into the metal. That piece is then riveted to a backplate of recycled copper that has been hand hammered.

That pendant is attached to a hand hammered copper ring. And then the necklace is completed with large beads of sodalite and copper chain.
